All the Glass has been blown by Colin Heaney in his studio in Byron Bay. The glass is hand made from molten glass drawn from a 1200oC furnace using special blowpipes and glass tools. Colours are added in the form of glass powders, chips, shards and canes. Colin Heaney’s Art Glass is highly sought after and can be found in collections all over the world.

Naomi Brettell uses Colin’s glass and cuts, grinds and polishes it into the unique necklaces, chokers, earrings and rings you see here. Other techniques used on some pieces include sand blasting. Most pieces then have silver added to them to further enhance their shape and beauty.
