Nada Herman-Witkamp
Nada Herman-Witkam Nada's oil paintings express the Australian coastal way of life. They are colourful, bold and lively depictions of the beaches, harbours, florals, still-lives, nudes and marine life.

Nada Herman-Witkam

Nada was born in 1965 into an artistic family. Her grandfather was the late and great Sali Herman and her father a well known artist as well. Both tutored her from a very early age. She won her first painting prize at age of 10 years. In 1991 the family held a "Three Generation Exhibition" which launched Nada into her career.

Nada now exhibits constantly in Australia and sells prolifically overseas and locally. Her spontaneous, lush style is created with thick brushes, palette knives as well as squeezing straight from the tube.

Her paintings range in size from 30cm to 3 metres. The paint is heavily applied and the colours are bright reflecting the wonderful environment we live in Australia.
