John Turton
john turton"A definite highlight of my career was in 1981 when I was chosen by the W.A. Arts Council to be Artist-In-Residence in the Gascoyne region. johnturtonpic.jpgThis involved a 3-month period where I was based in Carnarvon, but travelled to various small towns, and from station to station, to run workshops for isolated artists and art groups.

I was also offered a Residency at Mundaring Arts Centre in 1982 but an impending move to the Eastern States meant I was unable to accept the offer."
