Wayne lives on the North Coast of NSW. He is a self taught artist who works with acrylics, oils and mixed mediums.
His surrealistic style draws its inspiration from the ocean and natural surroundings.
”As a boy I would explore the coast line and bush land of the Royal nation Park (Sydney). I could sit for hours marvelling at the colours, textures and moods of the surrounding environment, totally in awe of Gods creation.”
Wayne feels that to him, art is simply a product of all our senses.
“I enjoy painting nature with a twist of imagination; my paintings are a way of expressing the wonder of the natural world that is part of us all, its for us to treasure and take in. It also expresses part of my spirituality."
Wayne has work in Private Collections nationally as well as Europe.
Walking Pandanus
“ Walking Pandanus “ is a celebration of the coastal tree that actually moves to better its position. By growing new roots, it kind of walks our coastal headlands. Here my Pandanus tree takes on human form, steps into the Ocean towards a light source beyond the moon."
Eagles
"Eagles have a supreme commanding prescence. Here our eagles are protecting three dimensions."
